Not only is Fusion safe for all skin types, it’s also tailored to treat patients with darker skin tones. Many other methods of laser hair removal cannot easily target lighter hair or darker skin. This makes the risk of burning the patient higher.
By contrast, Fusion uses two main handheld devices: Dark and Light. While the Light version is meant to treat lighter skin, the Dark version helps keep patients with darker skin tones safe while still being effective in targeting hair follicles.
Fusion Dark utilizes longer wavelengths than traditional laser hair removal. This allows for deep penetration of the hair follicle without burning or creating hyperpigmentation in the skin around it.
